Ode to Write’s Block #Poetry

I’m ready to create!

Sipping my tea

I’m ready to type!

Changing the music, yet again

I’m ready to express!

Scrolling through my Twitter feed

I’m ready to inspire!

Watching just ONE more video

I’m ready to write!

Staring at a blank screen

The pest keeps stealing my thoughts

      1. That last line “For some reason my words betray me today.” That’s the perfect line for writers block. No matter how you write, what words you use, there’s nothing that feels right in the words. Great poem! I loved your take on writers block. I can relate as well. Thank you for sharing. 😀
