Hello lovely fellow bloggers!
I had just some quick news to share with everyone. It’s already been 1 month since I started posting to my WordPress blog. It wasn’t very long ago that I was too nervous, bashful and not confident in my writing to share my writings outside of a handful of people. Now, I’m sharing a piece of my heart and soul with the world every day! It’s truly uplifting and invigorating. I am so thankful for all the support I am being shown on this site from my fellow bloggers. Your likes, follows and comments help to keep me motivated to write and share my posts every day. I couldn’t keep growing into the writer I wish to be without all of you. So, from the bottom of my heart THANK YOU. I look forward to interacting, growing, writing and posting more as these days turn into months. Wow time has flown!
Do you have any questions for me? If so please ask them in the comment section on this post. I will answer them back in the comment section and if I get a bunch of questions I will answer them in a blog post.
Catch you on the flipside,

Hello my fellow lovely bloggers!
I have been racking my brain for hours on what to write. Nothing is coming to me today sadly, but not all is disappointing! I had an idea to share some songs with everyone that I enjoy, and hopefully you’ll find one or two you like as well. Let me know what you think by leaving a comment and if you want more of the tunes I rock to leave a like so I know. Without further ado, here are some awesome listens.
I adore K. Flay as an artist she has a lot of amazing songs but this one popped up on my Youtube feed today. Her raspy voice is soothing but still feminine, which adds to the soothing feeling of this song. The original song is good as well, but there’s something about the beat and added music to this song that makes me fall in love. This is what I’m currently listening too on repeat.
Oh Missio, a band I just heard on the radio when I was driving one day. I like the light, airy beat to the music, definitely a head bobbing with the headphones on kind of song. The lyrics inspire me to just be myself and if you don’t like it, well the song title speaks for itself.
So, this song really shocked me at how much I liked it. I was never a fan of the Jonas Brothers, honestly I couldn’t name any songs they have song. When this came up on my Spotify shuffle, I was instantly hooked to the opening beat, and I still am. The emotions in the song lyrics, the dance moves and just both the singers really got me into this song. Showing me how much Nick Jonas has grown as an artist.
If you know me picking a Panic! At The Disco song wouldn’t surprise you, as I tend to play their albums on repeat at least once a week. I picked this song because it has a special place in my writing. I’ve listened to this song on repeat while I’ve written poetry and short shorties. The beat is simple but mellowing helping keep me focused and the lyrics are very sweet. Plus, Brendon Urie’s singing voice is hands down one of my favorite things to listen too.
Last, but not least, my girl Kesha. I’ve always had fun listening to her music, dancing, joking but never taking her lyrics seriously. When she released this song I was worried at what direction she would go. The opening had me on the edge of my seat because I knew this could go really great or really badly. I felt like I held my breath until this song was over and breathed a sigh of relief when I realized how good it really is. The lyrics just hooked me and I feel like it could fit anyone at least at some point in their lives. Also, the piano had me rocking out
These are just a few of the songs you can find me listening to on a regular biases. I have so many more songs that inspire me or have touched me on a deeper level. Also, a lot that are just for fun. I listen to all genres of music, there’s too many great artists in this world not too. I hope you enjoyed checking this small list out. If you did I will do more in the future.
I am still new to the blogging world, so even to be considered for any award is exciting and inspiring. A big thank you goes out to Aparna_097 for thinking of me and nominating me for this award. Aparna’s poems are beautifully written, making the words come to life in your heart and mind. I will highly recommended checking out Aparna’s post and giving a follow.
The rules are as follows:
- Share the link of the blogger who has shown love to you by nominating you.
- Answer the questions.
- In the spirit of sharing love and solidarity with our blogging family, nominate 8-13 people for the same award.
- Ask them 3 questions.
- What was the best moment of your life?
Holly: Hmm. This is a hard question because life is made up of so many amazing moments that it’s hard to pick just one… The first moment that jumps in my mind is being asked to be a part of my best friend’s wedding. Being a part of the love and celebration was truly amazing.
- What inspire you the most, when you bounce back into the realm of sadness?
Holly: I actually write best when I’m in “the realm of sadness”, I feel like it helps me unlock all my other emotions and my brain works overtime trying to place my words correctly. I’m not always sad though! What normally pulls me out is the support of my friends and family.
- What compelled you to blog?
Holly: I’ve been writing for a long time and I was very limited on who I shared my writings with. After some encouragement from these people and a kick in the pants I made a blog. I wanted to share my writing with people, get their thoughts/feelings on it. I will only get better if I push myself to grow and my blog is how I can grow.

My Questions for the blogger’s nominated:
- What are the goals you have set for your blog and how do you hope to achieve those goals?

You have fought for so long
Protecting and serving us all
Do not fret, Warrior
For those wounds and scars that leave you weak
You are still strong to me
In your final battle
I hear your call
Reaching out for your hand, Warrior
You are not alone
I am here
This poem was inspired by and written for: Lee Hernandez
Lee’s story is linked on his name. I urge you to please reach out to his man. He is under hospice care for an illness and his final wish is just for a phone or text. As busy as our lives are I believe every person who reads this poem can take a moment to honor this man’s dying wishes. He isn’t asking for much, just a second of your time. Thank you to anyone who reaches out to him.
“Hernandez and his family don’t want the connection to stop, which is where we all come in. Between 2 and 6 p.m. Arizona time, when he’s alert despite pain medications, you can call or text 210-632-6778 to speak with Hernandez or his wife (who will relay his message). He may not be able to read the text messages himself or articulate his thanks clearly (his speech is slurred from illness), but our small action, combined with “his strong will keeps him going,” said his wife.
If he or his wife don’t pick up the phone, try again later or leave a voicemail — at times, Hernandez is in too much pain to speak or function, said Ernestine. But he will, at some point, read or hear your well wishes.”
